WELCOME TO THE 48TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE LIBERATION OF SOUTH VIETNAM AND NATIONAL REUNIFICATION (30/4/1975 – 30/4/2023)
WELCOME TO INTERNATIONAL LABOR DAY 1/5
“The Hung Kings built the country, we must together protect it”
This is a famous saying by Uncle Ho during a meeting with the officers of Division 308 (Pioneer Division) at the Giếng Temple (part of the Hung Temple historical site – Phu Tho). His words were not only addressed to Division 308 but also to the entire military and the people, speaking to that generation, today’s generation, and future generations.
Building upon these beautiful traditional values, the Department and the Student Union of the Computer Science Department organized the volunteer activity “Back to the Source” at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery, which included meaningful activities such as lighting incense at the tombs and cleaning the cemetery grounds.
The “Back to the Source” activity aims not only to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (30/04/1975 – 30/04/2023) but also to provide students with an opportunity to express their deep respect and gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation and for socialism.
We hope that the “Back to the Source” activity has provided students with refreshing experiences, useful knowledge, and especially a deep understanding of the tradition “Drinking water, remembering the source” of our nation. The Department and the Student Union of the Computer Science Department are confident that we will meet again through many more meaningful activities in the future
